Review: 13 Treasures by Michelle Harrison is a wonderful, intense, mystery book. This book is wonderful in lots of ways, the characters in the book really show their own personality and can all be distinguished. Michelle is very clever with the book intertwined. 13 Treasures is also very intense because there are all a few main characters and it is from lots of different perspectives. The setting is nice and typical, huge ivy covered peeling paint, old mansion with secret passages underground and a dark forest the kids can not go into. I like it though it is not very creative. I think that the plot is creatively done. She overlaps complex situations and some how in the end they are all figured out. The book, though it begins a little boring keeps the reader attentive throughout. Other than that I think Michelle Harrison did and excellent job.
